This award is presented at the annual end of season presentations by the club. The Award was put forward by Kirsty & Ross Maxwell in 2016. Not only is this award established to acknowledge good sportsmanship, fair play and etiquette it is also being introduced to raise awareness for MacMillan Cancer Research which is a charity very close to the family's hearts. The Award will also be promoted at the start of each season with a family fundraising event to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Research and to encourage good sportsmanship, fair play and etiquette throughout the season. The family along with a few coaches and the previous years winner will create a panel to help pick the winner for this new prestigious award. All Junior Members are asked to nominate 1 fellow member to be put forward for the McMillan Sportsmanship Award. The top nominated members will then be discussed by the panel who shall select the final award winner.
